Mission
Spiritual Life
Wayne is a seeker of truth and lover of the Great Light, as he is loved greatly by the Great Light.
From his teenage years, Wayne has been interested in spiritual matters. He grew up in St. Louis, attended a Presbyterian church, met some Catholic charismatics, was baptized in the Spirit, went to Oral Roberts University and become deeply involved in his church as an adult. He always loved to study and read about theology.
However, he was never comfortable with many of the judgmental, dogmatic and exclusive perspectives of organized religion. Through ongoing study, he came to embrace a broader spiritual perspective, which sees God as Universal Love and Light and each person as an expression of that Light. Understanding scriptures through mystical eyes, he can see this truth within the Christian scriptures as well as many other religious traditions.
Professional Life
For most of his working career, Mr. McDaniel was a financial planner. He and his wife had their own firm, which grew to be one of the premier firms in the area. Helping clients achieve their financial and life objectives was very satisfying.
He retired from financial planning in 2016 and founded Generous Vision to help people achieve their philanthropic and legacy objectives. He also consults with businesses and helped found EquityVest, the first faith-driven FINRA-registered equity crowdfunding portal.
Mr. McDaniel continues to be active in business while also writing articles.
Philanthropic Life
From the beginning, Wayne and Jude believed in giving. Their financial planning firm set aside 5% of their gross revenue for charity. Over the years, their firm donated over $2,000,000 to multiple local, national and international causes.
Core to his heart are people that struggle against insurmountable odds. He is most grateful his company was able to adopt two villages in India, bringing hope and opportunity to thousands of rural people.
This book ties in directly with his life mission. His goal with this book is to help young children and their parents know the truth about how precious they are and how much they are loved. Maybe having this foundation will help them through tough times later.
100% of the profits of this book will be donated to children-oriented charities, which promote the well-being of kids. You can find more information on supported charities on this website.
